Thelma Armstrong

Thelma Armstrong is an historian, a Phillis Wheatley scholar, and over the course of over 30 years, the Executive Assistant to 6 deans of the Schools for Public Engagement at The New School. During this tenure, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a master’s degree in historical studies from The New School for Social Research, and was the recipient of the Will Gary Award during the 2015 Staff Service Excellence Awards.
