Lauren Moraski is editorial director at HuffPost.

Throughout her career, Lauren has worked in digital, print and broadcast media. She has been interviewed as an entertainment commentator for several shows and media outlets, including Extra, Inside Edition, PBS, CBS News, and MTV. She frequently hosts interviews on Build Series NYC.

Prior to HuffPost, she was entertainment managing editor at CBSNews.com. Before joining CBS, Lauren worked for Reuters.com, ABCNews.com and served as contributing editor to Infosecurity magazine. She reported for Brooklyn Independent Television and was associate editor of the trade publication and website, Inside Radio. While covering music and entertainment news for United Stations Radio Networks, Lauren interviewed hundreds of celebrities and developed and voiced her own syndicated entertainment radio reports.

Lauren also helped launch indie start-up Porcupine Media and BlogFreshRadio.com. She spent two years as a celebrity talent booker at Premiere Radio Networks/Clear Channel, and seven as a weekend radio jock on Long Island’s WBAB-FM. As a recipient of the International Radio & Television Society Fellowship, Lauren worked in the sales department at Katz Media Group.

A Long Island native, Lauren graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in English and American Politics. She earned a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, as well as a master’s in media management at The New School.

Lauren is currently a part-time assistant professor at The New School and is on the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together NYC and Media x Women.
