Reem Abdou
Reem Abdou is a New York City-based yoga & meditation teacher, ethnomusical soundhealer, and conscious music DJ & mindful movement guide who also goes by drėėėmy. Her work is an offering of both liberated inner and outer space.
Calling upon ancient modes of well-being and fusing them with the sciences of movement and energetics, she harnesses the elemental tools of yogic practice, sonic alchemy techniques, zen insight meditation & pranayama breathwork to drop students in to an accessible, intuitive experience of the fullest, most vibrant Self.
Reem has activated these restorative explorations & practices across times and spaces (including at The New School as a student mentor & teacher, The Queens Museum, The Rubin Museum of Art, The California World Music Festival, and this year at Madison Square Garden for its first ever public yoga & meditation experience). She facilitates embodiment experiences accessible to all levels and peoples in New York and internationally.
Her work is to invite a deep expression and balanced understanding of our unlimited potential and the healing power of movement, breath, & sound, Before Anything Else.
She is the founder of The Collective BAE (an NYC-based mindful music movement empowering women artists -
